Terms of Use
1. Scope of Application and Platform Purpose
These Terms of Use govern access to and usage of the Führerschein-Tipps platform (hereinafter referred to as the 'Platform' or 'Website'). The instructional materials, traffic sign directories, and exam simulations serve exclusively for personal educational preparation for the German Class B theoretical driving test. They provide independent self-study training and do not constitute legal or professional advice.
2. Statutory Notice: No Replacement for Mandatory Driving School Attendance (§ 4 FahrschAusbO)
Under German driving licensing law (Section 4 of the Driving Student Training Ordinance — FahrschAusbO in conjunction with Section 16 of the Road Traffic Act — StVG), attending theoretical and practical driving instruction at an officially licensed driving school (Fahrschule) is legally mandatory to be admitted to the official examination administered by TÜV or DEKRA. This platform is an independent supplementary study aid. It does not replace required classroom instruction, does not issue training certificates (§ 6 Para. 2 FahrschAusbO), and does not register candidates for official exams.
3. No Guarantee of Examination Success; Authoritative Legal Sources
The practice questions, explanations, and legal references are maintained with great diligence. Nevertheless, the operator cannot warrant continuous error-free status or daily synchronization, as German traffic legislation (StVO, FeV, StVZO) is subject to periodic ministerial amendments. We do not guarantee that using this site will lead to passing the exam.
Legally binding authority belongs solely to official statutes published in the Federal Law Gazette (accessible via gesetze-im-internet.de) and the official question catalog approved by TÜV | DEKRA arge tp 21.
4. Free Service, Ad-Supported Funding, and Local Browser Storage (§ 25 TDDDG)
The platform is 100% free; no user registration, passwords, or personal profiles are collected. All study progress and bookmarks reside exclusively inside your device's browser memory (Local Storage) pursuant to § 25 Para. 2 No. 2 TDDDG. Platform maintenance and edge hosting costs are sustained by Google AdSense advertising. Without explicit consent, only cookieless contextual ads are delivered; with user consent, advertising is personalized.
5. Intellectual Property Rights (§§ 2, 5 UrhG)
Original lesson commentary, pedagogical question adaptations, illustrations, and codebase created by the operator are protected under German copyright law (§ 2 UrhG). Any bulk reproduction, automated scraping, or unauthorized commercial exploitation within third-party driving school software without express written permission is prohibited.
Official works under Section 5 UrhG — notably the statutory text of German regulations and road sign graphics from Annexes 1 through 4 of the StVO — are public domain and reproduced within statutory limits.

6. Statutory Limitation of Liability for Gratuitous Services (§§ 521, 599 BGB)
Because this platform is made available free of charge and without remuneration, the operator is liable solely for intent and gross negligence in accordance with statutory German provisions governing gratuitous contracts (§ 521 BGB analog). Liability for slight negligence is excluded.
The aforementioned limitation does not apply to damages arising from injury to life, body, or health, or fraudulent concealment of defects. No liability is assumed for indirect losses, exam re-examination fees, or driving instruction fees.
7. Availability and Service Modifications
No guarantee of uninterrupted uptime or specific transfer speeds is provided. The operator reserves the right to modify or temporarily suspend website operations for technical maintenance or syllabus updates.
8. Governing Law and Severability (§ 306 BGB)
All legal relations concerning this website are exclusively governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). If any provision is deemed unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force (§ 306 BGB).
Terms effective as of: November 2026.
